Thanks for this tutorial.
I love using this database mainly due to the poor filter options AO3 currently has for bookmarked fics.
Up to now, I have been adding "Reading" and "Completed" to my Bookmark notes to see which fics I have finished or not. And with this, I can now search my fis by world count too.

But, the only downside is the creation of the columns.
Could you post a screenshot of your custom columns? I am trying to follow your instructions but I am getting a bit lost.
I am mostly trying to replicate the Ao3 tag division on the columns.
So:
Title/multi_series/Author/Fandom/characters/relationships/additional Tags/Published/Updated/World_count/chapters/bookmark_notes

I managed to add some of them, but I am having problems with the fandom column, characters, updated date, and bookmark notes.
